Deen Duel is an educational Islamic trivia application ("the App") available at deenduel.com and through the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the App and are a legal agreement between you and Deen Duel ("we," "us," or "our").
You may use Deen Duel if you are at least 4 years old (or the minimum age required in your country). If you are under 13, a parent or guardian must consent to your use of the App. By using Deen Duel, you represent that you meet these requirements.
You may play Deen Duel anonymously without creating an account. If you choose to create an account (via email or Google sign-in), you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at deenduelbusiness@gmail.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
You agree to provide accurate information when creating an account and to update it if it changes.
You agree to use Deen Duel only for lawful purposes and in a manner consistent with these Terms. You must not:
Deen Duel allows you to create custom quizzes, flashcard sets, and lessons. By creating and sharing this content within the App, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store and display that content to other users as part of the App's features.
You are solely responsible for any content you create. Content must be accurate, respectful, and appropriate. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate, including content that misrepresents Islamic teachings.
The Deen Duel name, logo, design, code, question database, and all other content created by us are our intellectual property and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission.
Quranic text and hadith content used within the app are in the public domain. We do not claim ownership over the source religious texts themselves.
Deen Duel includes AI-powered features (AI Tutor, AI Quiz Generator) powered by third-party AI services. These features are provided for educational assistance only.
We provide Deen Duel on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the App will be available at all times, error-free, or free of interruptions. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the App at any time with or without notice.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, through an in-app notice. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Deen Duel is provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of content, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be free of viruses or other harmful components.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use Deen Duel, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (or $10 if you have not paid us anything).
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Deen Duel is operated, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If that fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration or the courts of competent jurisdiction.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to Deen Duel at any time, for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may stop using the App at any time. Upon termination, your right to use the App ceases immediately.
